“There is a divinely inspired potentiality for creative expression within each one of us that the world needs and is awaiting.”
-Eric Butterworth
I graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies, with a master’s in counseling and a concentration in somatics. Somatics crossed my path by chance, when I took an undergraduate class titled “Embodiment and Agency.” At the time I didn’t know the meaning of either word, but followed my curiosity and it changed my life.
Since then I’ve been on a journey of discovery and have trained in several modalities, including The Tamura Method, Embodied Relational Sex Therapy, couples therapy, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Among these, the Tamura Method stands out. This work touches a place all of us that is meant to be felt. Like a spring, we emerge from this place and flow into the world with aliveness, joy, and ease.
My love for connecting with people aligns with my work well. I’m drawn to those who are curious and open and hope to inspire in them the courage be themselves.
