Coming Home:

Reclaiming Sensuality in Relationship

Who is this workshop for?

This work is for couples who want to explore intimacy, and relate more honestly. It’s for those that want to practice listening to their body, and connecting from this place. It’s for the brave and curious, and anyone with an appetite for experiential learning.

The Principles…

Embodiment: Learning to Feel

Our body is our primary home. We flow more naturally when we’re in right relationship, when we are taking care, when we listen to our body. Making friends with ourselves is a wonderful way to cultivate trust—to develop an inner guide that helps us navigate life.

Embodiment is presence. There is nowhere to go. The journey is learning to feel and be with what’s alive right now, by connecting with our sensuality. Attention is our guiding principle. The practice of attending to…sensation, emotion, vitality, tension, numbness…the exciting part is that we don’t know where this will take us. Truth is simply becoming.

Touch: Learning to Relate

Touch is one of the most powerful forms of connection. There is nothing quite like the safe loving presence of another. What more could we ask for than to feel felt, in the words of Jeff Foster, “to recognize each other here in the Vastness.”

With connection to our own body as a primary guide, the practice of relating through contact feels natural. From this place, we take responsibility for our own sensations and take care of our bodies as needed. As we feel into what’s true we connect more honestly; there’s beauty, vulnerability, and strength to it. The trick is, you can’t fake it. When we’re in alignment we feel it, and once we recognize the feeling we want more of it.
